Wonderful 7.5 lb rope with a thick durable sleeve in the middle to protect the rope when it strikes the ground during rotations. You feel the effects immediately within a few rotations. Great full body workout. I will suggest this to my local gym and fitness coordinator at work.

Maybe it needs to be broken in but at first use it’s not very functional. I’ve used a lot of heavy ropes but this wasn’t one of the ones I liked. It’s not too heavy, just doesn’t move in your hand well.

Nice piece of equipment to have for your fitness needs. It provides a great workout, but I have one concern; the handles should have a swivel unit, so that your able to jump rope without having to "loosen" your grip as the rope is coming around.

It’s really challenging and a lot of fun. The only down side right now is the out of the box stiffness can stop you from turning it fluidly. Consistency should remedy this problem, so I’ll be out there daily working with this thing until i can really move it. Great product, really enjoying it.

As an out of shape 55 yo I can tell already what a challenge this is going to be. I'm excited to really start the program and see how it works. The couple times I've "test drove" it I remembered I haven't jumped rope forever and you really have to spin it orit will smack you in the back of the head.
But I definitely do like everything about it.

Surely not ready for middle or larger ropes (38-50mm). It will be some time before I am. I will tackle them for very short periods and hopefully someday I'll be able to work with them for a 2-5 min which IMO would be one hell of a milestone.

The Rhino Rope seems to be very solid and well built. Definitely seems to be a good workout. I am disappointed that I was supposed to also receive the workout guide with my rope but did not. It was free of charge for whatever reason, so I’m not out money. I ordered it expecting to pay for it and was pleasantly surprised when the price was crossed out on the cart. However none of that matters since I didn’t receive it.

Been using the rope for two weeks now. It takes some adjustment from normal jump rope, but its definitely a good workout. My only complaint is that I did not receive the workout plan with my order.

The rope is does what it was advertised to do. It’s a great workout for building muscles in my arms, shoulders and wrist while at the same time working my cardio.
The only issue is the hand grips. As you rotate the rope the grips don’t rotate as they are glued in place. This twist the rope during exercise and doesn’t allow for easy turning if you go for more than 10 reps. I wonder how long the grips will even last. Some of the glue is already starting to come undone.

Last night was my first time using the 8.5 pounder for my fitness class that I run. Everyone's challenge was to do 100 jumps with it....breaking it down to 10-20 jumps per set and man did it wear us out. We plan to incorporate this tool every week and can hardly wait until we are fit enough to really use it like it was intended! This workout is the REAL DEAL!!!
